“Slow Stochastic” was designed to take out some false signals. What we are trying to do is that instead of thinking just about very current value we try to think a bit more about the recent movements. This gives more weight to the recent past....
Full stochastic oscillator was further revision of slow stochastic with the same objective as the slow stochastic i.e. to avoid as many false signals as possible...
Some more trading strategies by combining ADX, SAR, RSI and MACD with stochastic oscillator. Complementing technical indicators and using the right combination at the right time can give some nice results.
